Cable specification
4.0mm2 single-strand copper core wire is used for circuit main lines and special wires for air conditioners, electric water heaters, etc., 2.5mm2 single-strand copper core wire socket wires and some branch lines, 1.5mm2 single-strand copper core wire is used for lamps and switch wires , The ground wire in the circuit generally also uses a 1.5mm2 single-strand copper core wire.


In addition, telephone lines, TV lines, network cables, audio cables, etc. are also used in home improvement. These lines belong to the scope of dedicated lines. The specifications are relatively uniform, but there are some differences in quality. It is recommended that you choose better quality and higher grades when purchasing. Appropriate.

  The power cords that can be used at home are generally BVVL×2.5 and BVVL×1.5 type wires. BVVL is the national standard code, meaning it is a single plastic copper wire, 2.5 and 1.5 represent two models of 2.5 square millimeter core and 1.5 square millimeter core respectively. Under normal circumstances, 2.5 type is used as main line, trunk line and electrical socket line, 1.5 type lighting branch line and switch line. It is reasonable to choose 2.5 square millimeter copper core wire for the main line (refrigerator, air conditioner, TV, washing machine, high-power electrical appliances) in the line decoration. It is reasonable to buy a single copper core wire with a section of 1.5 square millimeters for the wire of the lighting lamp. Note that during construction, the power cord cannot be used for sheathing, but only a single plastic copper wire.

Cable specification

  The error of the cable core diameter is not more than 1% of the nominal diameter. The thickness of the insulating layer and sheath meets the requirements of the specification.


   The appearance of the cable should be intact, no mechanical damage, no obvious wrinkles and twists. The cable sheath and insulation layer are free of aging and cracks.

Cable specification
   The cable product logo is directly printed on the cable with clear handwriting. Such as model, specification, rated voltage, manufacturer name, length, etc.


   Continuity of the mark: no more than 550mm on the outer sheath of the cable, no more than 275mm on the insulation of the unsheathed cable.


   The head end of each section of cable shall be marked with a length scale starting from zero.
