While maintaining its flexibility, silicone creates an extremely tight and durable seal, making it the perfect outer coating for wires that may need to be moved or rearranged in the future.

Silicone sealant can be found in any hardware or home improvement store.
Mix silicone sealant if needed.
Silicone sealant is made up of several different compounds and needs to be mixed with some brands before use.
Disconnect the power supply of all the cables you are using.
Turning on the power switch on the main circuit breaker usually does this.
Clean the case of all the wires you want to waterproof with a wet rag.

Apply silicone sealant to the cable.

Fully cover all length wires and keep them dry after completion.
Avoid sealing on the connectors on both sides of the wire, as this will prevent you from removing the connector without going through the thread.
